Clarion's Dictionary Editor Import Wizard lets you import table definitions into your Clarion Data Dictionary.

When you select the ODBC Accelerator Driver from the driver drop-down list, the Import Wizard opens the Data Sources dialog. Select an existing Data Source, then press the Next button to import its definition.

If the data source is not defined, you can add it by pressing the New button, then following the ODBC instructions provided by the file system you wish to access.

When you have selected a data source, press the Next button to import its definition. This imports the ODBC table definition and opens the File Properties dialog, allowing you to modify file attributes if needed.

Catalogs and Schemas are groupings of tables. Not all SQL servers support them nor will a server necessarily support both. Further, a Catalog or a Schema is server dependant. For example, in PostgrSQL, a Schema is a Schema and a Catalog is a Catalog. However, with MySQL Catalogs equate to Databases and Schemas are not supported. These fields are normally not needed as the datasource configuration has enough information to return table lists without specifying a catalog or a schema.
