**This template (and its associated code templates) has been deprecated, and is now replaced by the [[tplcontrolrtf.htm|RTF Text Control]] template.**

The ShowRTFToolbar code template is used to simply either Hide or Unhide the default toolbar. This template calls the ShowToolbar method. A TRUE value is passed to the method to Unhide the ruler bar. A FALSE value is passed to the ShowToolbar method to Hide the toolbar.

**ShowToolBar( **//ShowStatus //**)**

**Example method calls:**

**oRTF_RTFTextBox.ShowToolbar( 1 ) !Unhide toolbar**

**oRTF_RTFTextBox.ShowToolbar( 0 ) !Hide toolbar**

**Associated RTF control**

Select the RTF control from the drop-down list. All controls on the Window are included in the list. This field in required.

**Show Toolbar?**

Check this box to make the toolbar visible (Unhide). If the box is cleared, the toolbar will be hidden at runtime.
