**Equal(**//filename//**)**

| **Equal** | Compares before and after values of fields. |
| //filename// | A string constant, variable, EQUATE, or expression containing the label of the file that is audited. |

The **Equal** method returns one (1) if all pairs are equal and returns zero (0) if any pairs are not equal.

**Implementation:**

The Equal method simply calls FieldPairsClass.Equat method which calls the FieldPairsClass.EqualLeftRight method which in turn does all the comparison work.

**Return Data Type:**     BYTE
